Vita

 Born in 1943, Mr. Peter Beier graduated in economics from the University of Cologne in 1970 with Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Administration. He began his career in an agricultural engineering consultancy, first in Frankfurt and later in the Middle East.

In 1976, he joined Weidleplan Consulting GmbH, Stuttgart, a multidisciplinary company specialised in engineering and architecture, where he successively developed projects in the Middle East, Africa and the United States before becoming Managing and Financial Director in 1983. In 1991, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management responsible for coordinating international companies and branch offices as well as financing and accounting.
During 1995-98, he set up his own consulting engineering practice and worked as an independent export consultant in securing Phare and Tacis contracts inter alia Poland Border Crossing Points, project management for the IsBank Headquarters Building Complex in Istanbul, planning and site supervision of Siam Reap airport in Cambodia financed by the Asian Development Bank and feasibility study for a 1,000 – bed hospital in Malaysia.

In 1996-2001, he was appointed as a Member of the Board of Management of Dorsch Consult Ing. MbH, responsible for engineering and international branch offices, business development in South-East Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He served as the Chairman of Board in 1999-2001. Since 2002, he returned to his independent international consulting practice in business development and marketing in Russia, India, Sudan, Ghana and Turkey, which includes business strategy consultancy for HANTEK Inc.
